For Henry and Jeanette's sprawling, high-end home in Brisbane, an ordinary laundry floor wasn't an option. As with everything in their beautifully appointed home, they wanted something modern and striking to showcase. With a bold orange splashback already in place, they thought a "cosmic" metallic epoxy floor with similar bursts of colour would be a perfect fit. What do you think?

Design Scope -

  1. The owners of a large, high-end home set on 10 acres in Brisbane wanted a modern, showcase laundry befitting such a beautiful home. With a bold orange splashback in place, a metallic epoxy floor with bursts of similar colour was used to create a laundry quite unlike any other.
  2. The laundry required a quality, 100% waterproof epoxy to handle typical laundry conditions.
  3. Installation was carried out while the residents were at home, so product needed to be free of pungent odours and harmful solvents.
Notes -
 
  • The owner jokingly begrudged the impact of the metallic epoxy floor, commenting that guests were paying too much attention to it and ignoring all the other unique design elements.
